I'm delighted that I made the right choice. This tour is ideal for solo travelers like myself. I opted for the budget-friendly tour package, and it exceeded my expectations considering the price. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this tour, from the friendly guides to the charming hotels. Additionally, I had the opportunity to meet and connect with new friends, which was a delightful experience. I want to express my gratitude for the incredible 14 days I spent in Vietnam, and I look forward to booking another tour with your company in the future.

Our trip to Vietnam/Cambodia started in 2019 then the world shut down! We finally went on our bucket list trip in February 2023! Alex was instrumental in ensuring our trip was a 5 star experience! From the beginning of the planning to the end of our trip all details were documented and when we asked for a change during the trip Alex was quick to ensure the change was completed in a timely manner. Everything from the tour guides seeing so many wonderful sites in Hanoi, Halong Bay and Sapa (Vietnam) to many temples, Angkor Wat in Cambodia. WOW! is all I have to say we had such a great time with IDC Travel's organization. I would highly recommend booking a trip with IDC and I will again in the near future. Thank you!

An unforgettable 19-day journey! From cruising the emerald waters of Halong Bay to soaking up the sun on Pattaya Beach, every day brought a new surprise. I loved the vibrant street life in Hanoi, the temples of Bangkok, and the warm smiles everywhere. The tour was well-balanced with culture, relaxation, and adventure. Perfect for first-time travelers to Southeast Asia. I came home with stories—and a full heart!

Has so many diferent places and culture to see. Hotels were okay, food sometimes too spicy for me, but guides were very nice and helpful. My favorite part was the last day in Mekong Delta, cruising on the river and seeing the floating markets, it was really special. Definetly a trip I wont forget!

This trip was just what i needed for a quick excape. the beaches were beautiful and kayaking around Lan ha Bay was so peaceful. I loved spending time outdoors. I was noted the during peak seasons, the island can get pretty crowded so i'd recommend going off-peak if you prefer a quieter experience.

Ninh Binh was impressive with the steps up Mua Cave, bit tiring but worth the view. Hotels ok but food sometimes not really my taste. Jeep tour in Hanoi last day was fun, seeing hidden spots and street life was best part. Overall good mix of nature and city, would recomend to friends.

I thouroughly enjoyes this 14-day tour, from te ancient town of Hoi an to the imperial tombs of Hue, i learned so much about Vietnam's history. Phong Nha was also incredible. the pace of the trip was just right for me, though some long bus rides between lacations can make things a bit tring, so just be prepared for that, but the beauty and history you'ss experience here totally make it worth it.

I am feeling a bit jetlag lol but this tour was pretty chouette. First day in Hanoi I was a bit lost but the food tour was like waaw tasty even if I cant spell half of the names. Sapa was cold in morning and my legs still hurting from all the steps to Fansipan but the views were super calme and I met a local family who was vraiment kind. The hike next day was long but the rice fields with the mist made me stop every few mins for pics that came out a bit blurry but ok. Ninh Binh was also a vibe the boat lady rowed with her feet I still dont get how. Ha Long cruise was relaxing I tried cooking spring rolls and they looked ugly but the chef smiled anyway. Overall the whole thing felt safe well planned and I didnt have to think too much which is nice for me when traveling.

I had a wonderful experience on this two-week beach holiday from Hanoi to the Mekong Delta. The itinerary combines cultural highlights like Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Cu Chi Tunnels and floating markets with plenty of beach time in Nha Trang. The mix of guided exploration and free days by the sea felt perfectly balanced. The accommodations, food, and travel logistics were well done — flights, transfers, hotel stays, entrance fees all handled smoothly. Tour guides were friendly and informative. The pace was busy at times but never overwhelming. A big thank to IDC Travel and the team for such a relaxing yet enriching trip!

So I just got back to Antwerpen and honestly still a bit confused about the time but the tour was pretty good hé. Hanoi first day I was tired but the food stuff was super lekker even if I probly said the names all wrong. Sapa was kinda misty and my shoes got wet but the Cat Cat village and Fansipan views were something I didnt expect at all. The hike next day took longer than I thought my gps even stopped working lol but the rice terraces looked like a painting. Ninh Binh boat ride was slow and calm exactly what I needed after all that climbing. Ha Long cruise was chill I tried the cooking class and mine looked like a joke but tasted fine. Overall felt well organized I didnt stress much and thats already a win for me when traveling.

A Luxury trip to Vietnam

Vietnam is already a popular travel destination for tourists from all over the world due to the diversity of its landscapes, natural attractions, and cultural heritage. The nation also offers the best for tourists while looking to the future in complete safety and tranquility. The growth of the luxury hotel network matches the heights of the most stunning locations, the warmth of the people, the varied and exquisite cuisine, and its legends. It is also a perfect choice for lovers of luxury and those who have high expectations for their travels.

Luxury travel in Vietnam

Luxury travel in Vietnam

By utilizing these benefits, we have developed the fantastic circuit detailed below, which enables you to thoroughly explore Vietnam while experiencing impeccable and first-rate comfort. Accommodation in opulent hotels and resorts, first-rate services, spa treatments, cruises, and cooking classes assure you of a memorable stay in Vietnam that combines elegance and comfort for your enjoyment.

Why Should You Choose Vietnam Luxury Tours?

Because Vietnam luxury tours stand out for their seamless blend of refined comfort, meaningful cultural depth, and rare, place-specific experiences. With more than a decade of on-the-ground experience designing tailor-made journeys for long-haul travelers, we have seen Vietnam evolve into one of Asia’s most rewarding luxury destinations. From premium flights and heritage hotels to private access at UNESCO sites and carefully paced itineraries, Vietnam luxury tours are built for travelers who value comfort, depth, and discretion.

1. A Refined Journey Starts with the Right Flight

For luxury travelers flying long-haul to Southeast Asia, the quality of the flight matters as much as the destination itself. On selected international routes to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Airlines operates the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering a Business Class product that consistently meets the expectations of experienced travelers.

In practice, what makes the difference is not only the lie-flat seating or modern cabin design, but the overall travel flow: priority ground services, access to Lotus Lounges, efficient boarding, and a calm onboard atmosphere. Seats are well-spaced for privacy, entertainment screens are generously sized, and lighting can be adjusted to help manage jet lag. Meals highlight Vietnamese cuisine with a refined presentation, served by crews known for their warmth rather than scripted service. Since 2019, in-flight Wi-Fi has been available on selected aircraft, a practical advantage for business travelers and long journeys.

For our clients, this smooth arrival sets the right tone, arriving rested, not rushed.

2. Handpicked Luxury Retreats in Truly Exceptional Locations

What defines luxury accommodation in Vietnam is location and privacy, not scale. Many of the country’s most remarkable properties are intentionally remote, designed to immerse guests in their surroundings rather than isolate them behind walls.

  • In Nha Trang, resorts such as Six Senses Ninh Van Bay are accessible only by boat, offering private pool villas tucked between jungle-covered hills and the sea.
  • In Halong Bay, the world-famous limestone seascape is best experienced on high-end boutique or private cruises, which follow quieter routes and allow flexible scheduling away from mass-market traffic.
  • For southern Vietnam, Con Dao remains a standout, an archipelago where nature, history, and spirituality coexist. Luxury stays here are about calm, conservation, and space, not nightlife or crowds.

These are places we select not from catalogs, but from direct inspection and guest feedback over time.

3. Living History Through Vietnam’s Colonial Heritage Hotels

A handful of iconic hotels in Vietnam have carefully preserved and reinterpreted its colonial-era architecture, particularly in its major cities. Staying in these properties adds context and character to a luxury journey.

Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi

Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi

  • In Hanoi, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, opened in 1901, remains unmatched for its sense of place, combining historic wings, tranquil courtyards, and modern luxury in the heart of the capital.
  • In Ho Chi Minh City, Park Hyatt Saigon stands out for its discreet elegance, refined service standards, and location near the city’s most important cultural landmarks.

We choose these hotels not just for their prestige, but also because they consistently meet the expectations of seasoned travelers: privacy, reliability, and understated sophistication.

4. Wellness Experiences Designed for Real Restoration

Vietnam’s rise as a wellness destination is no coincidence. Along the central coast, especially near Da Nang and Hoi An, natural settings and thoughtful resort design create ideal conditions for genuine rest.

Properties such as Fusion Resort and Villas Da Nang pioneered the all-spa-inclusive concept in Vietnam, allowing guests to integrate daily treatments, yoga, and fitness into their stay without rigid schedules. Short retreats (3–4 nights) work well for recovery after long flights, while longer programs focus on detox, stress reduction, and rebalancing, guided by professional therapists rather than generic spa menus.

For many of our clients, these wellness stays become the emotional highlight of their journey.

5. A 7-Day Luxury Itinerary Focused on Nature and Balance

Vietnam is particularly well suited to 7-day luxury itineraries, especially for travelers combining it with other Asian destinations. Within a single week, it is possible to experience UNESCO-listed landscapes such as Ha Long Bay or Trang An, coastal relaxation, and cultural depth without rushing.

With over 30 national parks and nature reserves, a 2,000 km coastline, and strong emerging standards in sustainable tourism, Vietnam offers luxury travelers something increasingly rare: the ability to slow down without sacrificing comfort. In this context, true luxury lies in space, silence, and well-paced travel elements we deliberately prioritize when designing each itinerary.

Vietnam luxury tours work best when they are designed by people who know the country beyond the highlights, who understand seasonal rhythms, logistics on the ground, and the difference between a good experience and a memorable one. When done properly, Vietnam does not feel like a Luxury destination in the conventional sense. It feels personal, authentic, and quietly exceptional.

What Are the Highlights of Our Luxury Tours?

Our luxury tours are designed for travelers who want to experience Vietnam and Southeast Asia in a deeper, more comfortable, and more meaningful way. Drawing from our long-term experience as a local destination management company, these journeys focus on well-paced itineraries, carefully selected accommodations, and authentic cultural encounters rather than rushed sightseeing. Whether traveling as a couple, a family, or across multiple countries, our luxury tours emphasize quality, balance, and genuine local insight.

1. A Seamless Journey Across Vietnam and Beyond

One of the strongest highlights of our luxury tours is the ability to combine multiple regions and even multiple countries into one coherent journey. We design each route to flow naturally, from Northern Vietnam to Central Vietnam, from beach destinations to cross-border itineraries connecting Vietnam with Cambodia and Thailand. We balance travel days, select flights and transfers for comfort, and handle border crossings smoothly with professional support.

Travelers experience iconic destinations such as Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap, Bangkok, and Chiang Mai while avoiding unnecessary backtracking or overly packed schedules.

2. Carefully Selected Luxury and Boutique Accommodations

Accommodation plays a central role in every itinerary. Our luxury tours feature a thoughtful mix of heritage hotels, high-end resorts, and boutique properties chosen for location, service quality, and atmosphere. In major cities, guests stay in centrally located hotels that allow easy exploration without long transfers. In natural settings such as Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island, or beach destinations, accommodation is selected to offer privacy, scenic views, and a calm environment.

Each property is chosen based on real guest feedback and on-site knowledge, ensuring consistency in comfort and service across the entire journey.

3. Private Experiences and Personalized Touring

A defining highlight of our luxury tours is the level of personalization. Most sightseeing is arranged privately with experienced local guides who understand not only history but also daily life and cultural context. Travelers explore old quarters, temples, countryside landscapes, and historical sites at their own pace, with time built in for rest and spontaneous moments.

Boat cruises in Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba, countryside visits in Northern Vietnam, and cultural excursions in Central Vietnam are arranged to avoid peak crowds whenever possible, offering a more relaxed and intimate experience.

4. Authentic Cultural Encounters and Local Life

Rather than focusing only on famous landmarks, our tours highlight the human side of each destination. Guests experience traditional villages, local markets, family-run craft workshops, and regional cuisine that reflects each area’s identity. In Northern Vietnam, this includes encounters with ethnic minority communities and rural landscapes. In Central Vietnam, travelers discover imperial history, ancient towns, and traditional cooking styles. In Southern and coastal regions, daily life along rivers and beaches adds depth to the journey.

These experiences are integrated naturally into the itinerary rather than presented as staged activities.

5. Well-Balanced Luxury Beach and Nature Experiences

We design several of our tours to incorporate extended beach or nature-focused stays, enabling travelers to relax after engaging in cultural exploration. From Cat Ba Island to longer Vietnam beach holidays, these itineraries combine light activities with genuine relaxation. Resorts are chosen for their setting and atmosphere rather than size, and days are intentionally left flexible so guests can enjoy the surroundings at their own rhythm.

This balance between discovery and rest is especially appreciated by families and long-haul travelers.

6. Family-Friendly Comfort and Practical Design

We design our luxury tours with comfort and safety in mind for family holidays. We keep travel distances reasonable, hotels provide family-friendly facilities, and activities cater to different age groups without feeling overly simplified. Private transport, flexible scheduling, and attentive guides ensure that both parents and children can enjoy the journey without stress.

7. Trusted Local Expertise and On-the-Ground Support

What truly sets our luxury tours apart is the constant presence of local expertise behind the scenes. From itinerary design to daily operations, every detail is handled by teams who know the destinations intimately. This ensures quick problem solving, reliable timing, and realistic planning based on actual conditions rather than generic templates.

Guests benefit from this expertise through smooth logistics, honest recommendations, and a travel experience that feels effortless yet deeply connected to the places visited.

8. A Luxury Travel Experience That Feels Personal

Ultimately, the highlight of our luxury tours lies in how personal they feel. These journeys are not mass-produced itineraries but carefully shaped experiences that reflect each traveler’s interests, pace, and expectations. By combining cultural depth, comfortable travel, authentic encounters, and trusted local knowledge, our luxury tours offer a refined way to explore Vietnam and Southeast Asia with confidence and ease.

If you are considering a luxury journey to Vietnam, let us help you design luxury tours that reflect your travel style, timing, and expectations. Contact us to start planning a Vietnam luxury tour tailored specifically to you.

My friends and I decided to take this trip to Thailand, and it was so fascinating. We have never visited a floating market like Famnoen Saduak, so this was so exciting to experience the vibrant atmosphere. The Grand Palace left us in awe with its intricate architecture and rich history. Then, the cruise on the Chao Phraya River gave us a unique and romantic view of Bangkok. Big thanks to our guide for making the trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for first-time travellers to Thailand!

Common Questions Travelers Ask Us

Yes. Vietnam is well suited for luxury travel thanks to its diverse landscapes, strong hotel infrastructure, safe environment, and high service standards. Luxury travelers can enjoy heritage hotels, private cruises, secluded resorts, wellness retreats, and personalized touring across the country.

Vietnam luxury tours focus on comfort, pacing, and depth rather than covering as many places as possible. They include private guiding, carefully selected hotels, flexible schedules, and experiences designed to avoid crowds while offering cultural and natural immersion.

It’s important to plan luxury travel to some of the amazing locations and experiences below:

  • Halong Bay Cruise: emphasize luxury and relaxation while incorporating exciting activities like kayaking, cycling, visiting caves, etc. Halong Bay is always the top destination for your visit list.
  • Hoi An : renowned for its beauty and culture from long ago. On your visit, you can stay in one of the many luxurious boutique hotels that are located here.
  • Phu Quoc Island where beach-minded people relax and immerse themselves in clear blue water at a luxurious resort.

The ideal length of a luxury tour in Vietnam is between 7 and 14 days, depending on travel goals, flight distance, and the desired pace of exploration.

  • An 8-day luxury tour is ideal for travelers who want a focused, high-quality experience without rushing. This timeframe works particularly well for exploring one main region, such as Northern Vietnam or Central Vietnam. It allows enough time for a major highlight, like a Ha Long Bay cruise, combined with a cultural city stay and moments for relaxation, while keeping travel time efficient. Many travelers pairing Vietnam with another Asian destination also prefer this format.
  • A 10-day luxury tour offers the best balance for first-time visitors. It allows travelers to cover two regions at a comfortable pace, for example, combining Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, and Hoi An, or adding a short beach or wellness stay. This duration provides depth without fatigue, with space for private touring, slower mornings, and meaningful local encounters.
  • A 14-day luxury tour is ideal for travelers seeking a more complete understanding of Vietnam. It allows exploration of three regions from north to south, including cultural cities, natural landscapes, and coastal relaxation. With this length, travel days remain well spaced, jet lag is fully absorbed, and the journey feels immersive rather than intensive.

In luxury travel, the goal is not to see everything but to experience each place properly. From our experience, tours shorter than 7 days feel too compressed for long-haul travelers, while journeys longer than 14 days work best when combined with beach extensions or neighboring countries such as Cambodia or Thailand.

Absolutely. Luxury tours are typically tailor made based on travel dates, interests, pace, and comfort preferences. Customization may include hotel selection, activity level, culinary experiences, or multi country extensions.

Yes. Most sightseeing and excursions are arranged privately with experienced local guides who provide cultural context, practical insights, and flexibility based on guest preferences and daily conditions.
