We have compiled a collection of ten top private tours in Vietnam, created by local experts who have extensive knowledge of the area. It’s for discerning travelers who want the real deal but still get to be comfortable.
Each package is optimized to offer a seamless experience, from the spectacular North (Hanoi, Ha Long, Sapa, Ha Giang) to the lush South (Mekong Delta, Saigon), the imperial heritage of the Central (Hue, Hoi An), and certainly not missing the beautiful beaches (Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Con Dao). You can rest assured that our itineraries include 3-star to 5-star hotels, private guides, and in-depth cultural experiences.
From start to finish, this tour was an exceptional experience. Alex, our travel advisor, was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions and putting together a tailored itinerary that perfectly fit our interests and preferences. We were able to visit some of Vietnam's most iconic sites, including Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, and the Cu Chi Tunnels, as well as lesser-known but equally fascinating places like the Mekong Delta and the Marble Mountains.
The accommodations throughout the tour were top-notch, with clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food, and friendly staff. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable, and went out of his way to make sure that we had the best possible experience. He was always available to answer our questions, offer suggestions, and make sure that we were comfortable.
One of the highlights of the tour was the opportunity to meet and interact with local people, both in the cities and in more rural areas. We were able to learn about their culture and way of life, and even participate in some traditional activities like making rice paper and fishing with local fishermen.
Overall, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If you are looking for an immersive and unforgettable experience in Vietnam, IDC Travel and Alex are the way to go. Thank you for an incredible trip!

Vietnam is one of the most popular travel destinations in Southeast Asia, with thousands of years of history, diverse cultures, majestic natural landscapes, and hospitable locals. However, self-traveling in Vietnam presents significant challenges for foreign visitors, such as language barriers, public transportation issues, cultural differences, and the risk of exploitation. Therefore, finding the best Vietnam tour packages is the preferred choice for most tourists seeking a perfect vacation in Vietnam.
When it comes to must-visit destinations in Vietnam, you will see multiple inspiring tourist spots across all three regions: the North (Hanoi, Halong, Ninh Binh, Sapa), the Central region (Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang, Nha Trang), and the South (Saigon, Mekong Delta, Phu Quoc). The North showcases dramatic landscapes and rich history, the Central region blends imperial heritage with stunning coastlines, while the South offers a vibrant mix of dynamic cities, lush river deltas, and tropical island escapes.

Halong Bay
Northern Vietnam is such a must-visit place for your vacation when you come to our country. With our North Vietnam tours, you would have the chance to experience all sides. It combines cultural tours in Hanoi, beach and cruise tours in Halong, historical tours in Ninh Binh, and adventure tours in Sapa.
When it comes to the demand for complete relaxation, central Vietnam tours are the best option here. Starting from Hue with the ancient citadel and its fascinating historical lessons, then following a mix of traditional culture and modern lifestyle to Hoi An and Da Nang. Finally, end your vacation gently with the city that has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Nha Trang.
A harmony of noise and peace is the best way to describe a holiday in South Vietnam. Arriving in Saigon (a.k.a. Ho Chi Minh City), you will begin sightseeing in crowded South Vietnam, a city of 10 million people teeming with all kinds of services and entertainment activities. Then 1-2 days in the Mekong Delta should help slow the trip down before a glorious end with a beach holiday in Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s most beautiful island.
One of the strengths of traveling in Vietnam is the country’s clear regional diversity, which makes it easy to build rich and well-balanced itineraries. Each region offers its character and rhythm. The North reflects the roots of Vietnamese culture with its historic cities, mountains, and natural landscapes. Central Vietnam blends imperial heritage, ancient towns, and laid-back coastal life. The South offers a more dynamic atmosphere, influenced by modern cities and the Mekong waterways. By moving through these regions, travelers gain a deeper, more authentic understanding of Vietnam, experiencing not only its famous landmarks but also the daily life, traditions, and contrasts that define the country.
Northern Vietnam is the cultural cradle of the country, combining ancient heritage with spectacular landscapes.

Yes, children are welcome on most Vietnam tours. Family-friendly itineraries are widely available, and many tours can be adjusted to suit traveling with kids. Generally, children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Required documents usually include a valid passport and, in some cases, a visa, depending on nationality.
The following is our child policy:
– Children under 5 years old travel free of charge when accompanying one full-paying adult, sharing the same room and meals with parents. However, air tickets (if applicable) and any additional incurred expenses are charged separately.
– Children from 5 to under 11 years old are charged 75% of the adult rate when accompanying one full-paying adult and using services as an adult.
– Children aged 11 years and above are charged the full adult rate.
For smooth arrangements, we recommend informing us of the child’s age at the time of booking so accommodation, transportation, and services can be properly prepared.
Vietnam is a year-round destination, but the best overall time to visit is from October to April, when weather conditions are generally drier and more comfortable for travel. Because the country stretches across multiple climate zones, the ideal timing depends on the regions you plan to explore.
These regional differences allow you to easily tailor Vietnam into an enjoyable itinerary at almost any time of the year.
Vietnam tours offer different durations between 5 and 21 days, so depending on your available time for your vacation, you can plan the trip. Let’s review our Vietnam sightseeing itinerary options below:
