Sapa is not only known for its beautiful landscape, but it is also a cultural destination. These characteristics can be found in regular markets of Coc Ly, which take place once a week on Tuesday mornings, where hill tribe people sell and purchase daily life material, exchange farming experience, and meet friends. Coc Ly is a tiny market where you may encounter Flower Hmong, Black Zao, Phu La, Nung, and Tay ethnic communities. The excursion includes a one-way boat ride down the Chay River and a short walk to Trung Do, a Tay minority settlement. Travelers will take a boat trip down the Chay River from Coc Ly markets, enjoy viewing man and natural environment along the river’s bank, and take a brief stop to see Tay ethnic communities. Our Sapa – Coc Ly Market Tour lets you experience Sapa’s most famous market while also taking in the stunning mountain views.

We check out of the hotel after breakfast and go to Coc Ly market. The market is located near the Chay River, which originates in China. Every Tuesday morning, minorities from neighboring villages such as Flower Hmong, Black Zao, and Tay congregate to sell and buy their wares.
We head downstream by boat after viewing the market. We may enjoy spectacular views of the lovely caverns and life on the riverbed while riding. Later, we have lunch in a village.
The journey will also include a visit to Trung Do village of the Tay minority, where we may pause for a cup of tea in a typical Tay home.
We’ll continue downstream till we reach the Bao Nhai Bridge. At this point, we board the vehicle for the trip back to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.
When the train arrives in Hanoi the next morning, you will be picked up and sent to your hotel.
End of trip.
