Detailed Itinerary

Lunch & Dinner

To start the Mekong Delta 4 days tour, our guide and car will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Ben Tre, a beautiful region of Mekong Delta, which is famous for its manufacture of coconut candies.  Arrival at the Hung Vuong pier, we will take a boat trip on Ben Tre river to discover the daily life of locals. You will continue your canal trip to Nhon Thanh village. You can taste the fresh fruits, then ride a bike (or tuk tuk) on a path through the village and admire the landscape of coconut palms, rice fields and vegetable gardens.

Lunch with elephant ears fish will be served in this village. A short walk will allow you to explore the local life in depth. Then take a boat trip on the small canal shaded by wild palm trees. If you want to ride a bike, you can ride through the rice fields and meet the locals.

Return to the village, where you will spend a night with the residents. In the afternoon, you can participate in the preparation of dinner with the host.

Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cho Lach and Tra Vinh. On the way, you can stop to visit a Bonsai garden. Then, you will cross the Mekong River by ferry. Arrival at Khmer village of Cau Ke which belongs to Tra Vinh province, then installation of the inhabitant. This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in this Mekong Delta 4 days tour.

Your lunch will be served at homestay. After that, you will enjoy a bike ride in Ba Mi village. You will visit the surroundings and meet the local farmers who work in the garden (vegetable or fruit garden), then enjoy the local life and the hospitality of local people. You will continue to visit Ba Mi Cathedral and School (closed during summer vacation). Finally, you will stop your bike ride by a visit to the Khmer pagoda before going to the locals to rest.

Have dinner and overnight in Tra Vinh.

Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner

We will start the third jour of Mekong Delta 4 days tour with a bike ride through the nursery fields. You will visit several Khmer villages, such as Canh Dai, Tra Khao, Giong Lon… Then, you will be transferred by car to a family house of Huynh Ky, preserved a mixture of Eastern and Western architecture, dating from the beginning of the 20ᵉ century.

Transfer to Long Xuyen through Sa Dec where you will visit the Kien An Cung Pagoda, then the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, taken from the novel by Marguerite Duras “The Lover”. Then discover the local market in Sa Dec which is rich in fruits, vegetables and fish. Continue driving to Long Xuyen to visit Cao Dai Temple and a crocodile farm on the path.

Transfer to floating market and floating village of Long Xuyen which are lively and authentic on a small tributary of the Mekong River. You will learn about daily activities of the locals and enjoy a boat trip to Cu Lao Ong Ho, where there is a small museum dedicated to our famous president Ton Duc Thang. Then, you will cycle around the island and enjoy the beauty of the peaceful landscapes.
