Today, you will visit some of the city’s spectacular Buddhist temples. Start with the Wat Phra Kaew, said to be one of the most revered Buddhas in Thailand, which is housed in the Grand Palace. Next door is Wat Pho, home to the iconic reclining Buddha and a massage school. Just across the river from Wat Pho is Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn, famous for its 70-meter-high spherical tower, Phra Prang, decorated with tiny pieces of coloured glass and Chinese porcelain.

Start the day with a unique cycling tour through Bang Kachao, often referred to as the “Green Lung” of Bangkok. After breakfast, you’ll head to the iconic Maeklong Railway Market. Today is a full day at Chang Chill, an award-winning ethical elephant sanctuary located in the hills outside Chiang Mai. Unlike traditional camps, Chang Chill promotes a no-ride, no-touch approach to elephants so they can live as naturally as possible. You will start with a guided walk through the forest, observing elephants as they feed, socialize and bathe in mud puddles. Along the way, your guide will brief you on elephant behavior, health and conservation practices.

After the walk, you will participate in the preparation of elephant meals under the guidance of the sanctuary staff, and feed the elephants from a safe distance. You will experience trekking on the Ang Ka trail through the pristine natural forest and visit ethnic minority villages. Along the way, we will stop at Wachirathan Waterfall, one of the most majestic waterfalls in the park. In addition, on this tour of Inthanon National Park, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Royal Twin Pagodas. This is the ideal place for you to see the whole of Chiang Mai.
In the evening, return to our homestay to join the locals for a cooking class, where you will learn how to prepare northern Thai specialties over a campfire. The day ends with a campfire in the forest, where everyone shares stories under the starry sky.
