Start your first day in Bangkok by visiting some of Thailand’s most famous landmarks: the Grand Palace (Thailand’s royal palace located in the heart of the city, a testament to the majesty and power of the Thai people), Wat Pho (famous for its hundreds of large and small Buddha statues and the giant reclining Buddha), then take a ferry across the river to another famous temple, Wat Arun, or the beautiful sunrise temple next to the poetic river.

Before returning to your hotel, you can visit Chatuchak Market, Thailand’s largest open-air market, selling a myriad of items from handicrafts, cheap clothes, pottery and even pets. To end your first day, why not choose a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River? This is truly the perfect way to explore Bangkok from a different perspective and admire the illuminated monuments.

On your second day in Bangkok, continue your journey to explore other famous destinations. Visit Wat Saket, or the Temple of the Golden Mount, which dates back to the Ayutthaya period. The majestic white temple sits on a hill, topped by a glittering golden stupa housing Buddhist relics and offering spectacular views of the city.
Yaowarat (Bangkok Chinatown)
Continue on to Chinatown, Bangkok’s biggest shopping and entertainment destination. Visit Wat Chakrawat, a unique temple with three giant crocodiles kept alive in its pond. In the late afternoon, head to King Power Mahanakhon, currently the highest observation deck in Thailand, and take in stunning sunset views of the city from above. Stop by the 78th floor of the building and enjoy the thrilling walk across the world’s largest glass floor.
In the evening, if you’re feeling a little more action-packed, you can also end the day by attending a Muay Thai boxing match, the national sport. Watch the best boxers compete and soak up the electric atmosphere at the stadium.

Today, you will depart to visit Phrathat Doi Suthep Temple – one of the most sacred temples in Chiang Mai, revered by Thai people and a place where many Buddhists come to make pilgrimages during major holidays. Visitors often say that if you come to Chiang Mai without visiting Wat Phra That, it is considered that you have not been to this city. Continue to Wat Chedi Luang, which stands out with its tall tower in the middle of the temple grounds with unique architecture of the Lanna dynasty.
