Today, you will take a day trip organized by boat in the coastal province of Krabi (Aonang region). We will visit Tubb Island, Chicken Island, Poda Island, and Phra Nang Cave. Krabi is famous for its limestone peaks on land and in the sea. The limestone hills of Krabi contain many caves, most of which are home to stalactites and stalagmites.

Today, you will take time to explore Khao Sok National Park. The magnificent sandstone and shale are about 300-600 meters above sea level. The park runs through a limestone mountain range from north to south, with the highest point reaching 950 meters. Heavy rainfall and fallen leaves caused erosion of limestone and formed the significant karst formations we see today. There will be a canoe trip along the Sok River in today’s itinerary.

Before heading to Phangan Island, let’s first explore Cheow Lan Lake (also known as Rajjaprabha Dam Reservoir) by boat. Cheow Lan Lake is home to a variety of mammals such as tigers, elephants, tapirs, and many species of monkeys. It is also said to be the most beautiful lake in Thailand. Phangan Island is famous for its full moon, half moon, and black moon parties, which last all night on Haad Rin Beach.
