Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet your driver and tour guide, and then transfer to your hotel for check-in. The remaining time is at your leisure. You can just relax at the hotel or stroll around to enjoy the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere of Hue.

Today, you will spend time exploring Hue on a guided tour. The journey begins with a visit to Hue Imperial City. During this visit, you will learn about Vietnamese history and admire majestic and sacred architecture, which used to be the center of government during the Nguyen Dynasty.

After that, you’ll visit Thien Mu Pagoda. This seven-story temple is the unofficial symbol of Hue. Coming here, you will have a chance to relax and wander around the peaceful gardens and admire the great view over the Huong River (Perfume River).

Continue your journey; visit Thuy Bieu, the scenic countryside in Hue. This village is surrounded by beautiful gardens, ancient temples, and charming country homes. All these rustic beauties allow us to relax and find peace of mind. You will visit a family and enjoy tea time with this family and join them in a bit of gardening.
In the late afternoon, return to the hotel, and the remaining time is at your own leisure.

Today, you will visit the tomb of Minh Mang Emperor, who ruled the country from 1820 to 1840 at the height of the Nguyen Dynasty. Since the tomb is quite large, you will follow a tour, beginning from the Dai Hong Mon Gate, Bai Dinh Courtyard, Minh Lau Pavilion, and Trung Dao Place, and finally reaching the burial mound.

After the tour, return to the city for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will participate in an artwork at Truc Chi Garden. During the workshop, you will cut your own handmade stencils and learn certain painting and etching techniques to create bamboo paper art you can take home and hang on your wall.
Chuon Lagoon
Continue your journey; you will head to the coast to visit Chuon Lagoon. This is the place where fishermen live on houseboats and have been making their living from the water for generations. You will boat on a local sampan and head into the lagoon to cast a few nets. After an hour or two on the water, return to town and head to a local restaurant where they’ll cook up your fresh catch on the spot. Then, sit down and enjoy your fresh seafood as the sun sets over the water.

Today, you will transfer to Hoi An, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Vietnam. Along the way, you can enjoy the Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach, and My Khe Beach.
As the sun sets, the lantern lights in Hoi An
Upon arrival, check into the hotel in the town center, then the remaining time is at your own leisure. You can take an evening stroll around the street of lantern lights to see the town come alive. As the night falls, the lantern lights, and the waterfront is particularly romantic with colored lanterns and floating candles illuminating the night. You can build your own traditional lanterns and float them.

Spend the morning exploring the highlights of Hoi An. You can go on foot or rent a bicycle to ride down the street. Cross the Japanese Covered Bridge, or visit the Fuji Assembly Hall and relax in a local cafe. For those who are eager to savor local cuisine and specialties, Hoi An is truly a food heaven with diverse dishes such as Cau Lau, Banh Mi Phuong, and My Quang. Don’t forget to try “Mót,” the famous traditional herbal tea of Hoi An. You can also head into the riverfront boutiques and browse the local fashions and buy some custom clothes for yourself or your beloved one as a gift.

In the afternoon, you’ll bid farewell to Hoi An, transfer to Da Nang, and catch a departure flight. Safe travels, and see you the next time!
