This Mai Chau Tour are dedicated to allow customers to contemplate the beauty of nature, and to gain insight into tribal lifestyles and culture. Mai Chau is a little town located about 130 kilometers west of Hanoi, set in the center of a verdant valley and surrounded by emerald-green rice fields. Step off the beaten road and immerse yourself in Mai Chau’s calm hill tribal life and stunning landscape by cycling or walking across the undulating hills. Beside walking to surround villages, customers can have other exciting activities such as rock climbing or kayaking.
7h30: Departure from Hanoi
11h30: Arrive at Mai Chau. Leave your belongings at the hotel while you relax and have lunch.
Go Lao Waterfall
14h00: Your driver and tour guide will greet you in the lobby and bring you to Bai Sang, a kayaking destination 15 kilometers outside town. Because certain portions of the route are rather narrow, the journey takes around 30 minutes. However, you may take in the stunning landscape along the route, which includes lush rice terraces, tall green bamboo bushes, and the Go Lao Waterfall.
14h30: Arrive at Bai Sang. Your tour guide will assist you in preparing the life jackets and will then show you how to paddle the kayak appropriately and securely. You will kayak on the Da River for around 90 minutes. Have fun and take in the beautiful natural scenery!
Kayaking in Mai Chau
Then, your guide will take you to Pho Moi village, which is home to the Muong ethnic minority. You’ll also be storing your kayak here. If you want to go swimming, feel free to do so. Following that, we will go to a local house, drink tea, and talk to individuals to learn more about their everyday life.
16h30: Return to your homestay or hotel.
19h00: Dinner at a restaurant
20h30: Enjoy traditional Thai, Muong, and H’Mong music and dances performed by Mai Chau residents.

7:30: Start your day with a delicious breakfast.
8h30: Prepare your rock climbing equipment with your tour guide, then get on a bike to the rock climbing location. You will ride via Poom Coong and Lac Villages, over the Lac Bridge, and continue along a narrow road through rice fields and mountains beginning with your stay. It will take you around 15-20 minutes to get to the rock climbing area.
